Tashii Brown died as the result of asphyxia in the manner of homicide, according to the findings from the Clark County Coroner’s office.

Brown, 40, who also goes by the name “Tashii Farmer,” died while in police custody in May.

In a release Monday, Clark County Coroner John Fudenberg, D-ABMDI, stated: “The autopsy determined the cause of death to be asphyxia due to police restraint procedures and other significant conditions included methamphetamine intoxication and cardiomegaly. The manner of death is ruled homicide.”

There wasn’t any other information released.
