A local family had that experience last month and the unexpected hero was a 10-year-old girl. On Tuesday, Clark County Commissioners honored 4th grader Aaliyah Inghram for her bravery. Not many children, let alone people, can say they took a bullet for a loved one. Commissioners recognized her heroism by officially declaring June 5 as “Aaliyah Inghram day.
