The Clark County Air Pollution Board unanimously reaffirmed a permit for Wells Cargo expansion, against objections of the Clark County School District.

Wells Cargo is planning to expand their plant on the west side of the Las Vegas valley.

The plant would be on the south side of Spring Mountain Road at Tenaya Way. That’s where its current plant and gravel pit is located.

CCSD and Nearby homeowners are not happy about the proposed expansion because many of them are worried about their health.

However, Wells Cargo says it has been at this location since 1963, long before the land around it was developed with homes.
