Two Clark County Firefighters had to be taken to the hospital after they sustained injuries fighting a house fire Tuesday afternoon.

The fire happened around 12:41 p.m. in the 3700 block of E. Desert Inn Road near Desert Inn and Sandhill roads. The fire was in a one story townhouse unit.

Six engines, one truck, two rescue units, and two battalion chiefs were all on hand working the fire. In all, a total of 34 people with the Clark County Fire Department helped battle the blaze.

NV Energy was called to the scene to help with electrical issues. There weren’t any other details released surrounding the firefighters’ injuries.

Damage estimates and the cause of the fire are pending.
