Blues defense, goaltending ends Golden Knights eight-game winning streak

The Golden Knights came into Thursdays game against the St. Louis Blues as the NHL’s hottest team riding an eight-game winning streak.

Remembering a 3-2 overtime loss in Las Vegas back on October 21 and outshooting the Golden Knights 49-22, the Blues got their redemption in a 2-1 victory.

It was St. Louis’ defense and hot goaltending of Carter Hutton stopping 32 of 33 shots in the win. Paul Stastny’s eighth goal of the year at the 5:59 mark of the third period proved to be the game winner.

Erik Haula scored his 15th of the season accounting for the Golden Knights only goal.

The Knights (27-10-2) have a quick turnaround and take on the Chicago Blackhawks Friday night at the United Center.
