8 year old Kwantez is a lovable kid who needs a home

His whole life in front of him, and all the tools to be a big success “*except* a loving adoptive family.  Dave Courvoisier introduces us to this week’s Wednesday’s Child:  8-yr-old Kwantez.
Like Wesley last week on Wednesday’s Child, Kwantez was a wide-eyed eager kid-in-a-candy-store at the Wii Play Games store.

This young man has a great curiosity, and doesn’t miss a thing!

“He is very high functioning. He can memorize things really good, he memorizes different places that he’s been and people he’s seen from a be a year or two ago he will remember, so he has a great memory of things,” says Allen, his foster father.

Kwantez is especially good with direction… Since being in Allen’s home there’s been a lot of growth.

“Yes, we’ve seen a great improvement in him. He loves family time, he loves attention, and he loves… structure, so we have provided structure for him in our home where he has activities that he can do and have fun,” adds Allen.

At eight, Kwantez has a pretty good grasp of what adoption means.

“He needs a stable home he really does and so I talked to him about adoption I say you you can get uh, you know up stable home with a mom and dad and family, so he does look forward to that. I do really think a family for him is really good to have,” says Allen.

Kwantez needs to know he’s #1… A home where there’s good direction, attention, and love.

“He needs, he loves a male figure in his house. A male figure gives him structure. So particular male and a mom is good to have for him as well because you know he has his affections he loves a hug and he loves to you know follow direction. But definitely a male in the house and you know a brother would be very pleasant for him,’ claims Allen.

Kwantez is more than ready for adoption…To get started in the process, call the office of the Adoption Exchange at 702-436-6335.
