LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A tour helicopter performed a hard landing at the Boulder City Airport leaving seven people injured.

On Tuesday afternoon, a tour helicopter returned from a Grand Canyon trip with one pilot and six passengers on board.

According to the City of Boulder City, the helicopter made a hard landing at the Boulder City Airport for reasons unknown.

Boulder City Fire Department responded to the landing and determined that all seven people suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

The passengers and pilot were taken to Sunrise Hospital and Siena Hospital for treatment. All seven people are expected to recover fully.

The National Transportation Safety Board will handle the investigation, according to the City of Boulder City.
