Two men wanted in the shooting death of northwest Las Vegas woman were arrested Friday in Palmdale, California.

Sheri Aoyagi, 60, was gunned down right in front of her own home Wednesday afternoon.

The shooting happened just outside her home on Morely Avenue near Torrey Pines Drive and Smoke Ranch Road.

Police said Morley was returning home from lunch with her husband who used a wheelchair when they noticed an unknown car in their driveway.

Metro said as Aoyagi got out of the car and started walking towards the house, two men came out of the front door. One of the men went to the car parked in the couple’s driveway, pulled out a handgun and shot Aoyagi.

The men suspected of being burglars then drove away. Her husband watched the events unfold in front of him.

Police say they got into the home by breaking a small window by the door and reaching inside to unlock it. Aoyagi’s husband Stan said a safe was stolen.
