Metro Police says it arrested two more suspects in connection with an April 27, 2016, homicide.

Deandre Daniels and Julian Warren were arrested for the death of 48-year-old Mark Steven Santee.

According to officers, the victim was a security guard patrolling a construction site near Fort Apache Road and Tropicana Avenue when he encountered the thieves.  Police said he confronted the men who were allegedly at the site to steal, and that’s when he was shot and killed.

Detectives say he was shot several times.

Raymond Padilla, 43, was the first suspect nabbed by police for Santee’s death.  He was arrested in March 2017.

On March 1, 2017, Padilla did an interview from the jail with 8 News NOW.  He says he was stopped by police because he was driving an orange colored truck.  It’s the same type of vehicle police believe was used in the robbery.

However, Padilla says says police have the wrong guy.

Padilla was charged with murder with the use of a deadly weapon, robbery with the use of a deadly weapon, burglary, conspiracy to commit murder, conspiracy to commit robbery and conspiracy to commit burglary.

No word on the charges Daniels and Warren will face.
