16 Apple iMac computers stolen from UNLV computer lab

University Police sent a warning Friday for students to be vigilant after 16 Apple computers were stolen from UNLV.

According to UNLV police, between the hours of 2 a.m. and 10 a.m., 16 Apple iMac computers were stolen from a computer lab in Thomas Beam Engineering Building B.

Officers said the building was locked when the theft occurred.  

UNLV Police Services recommends the following steps in regards to securing campus facilities and property:

  • Secure and lock all room doors upon exit.
  • Be aware and take notice of persons wandering through buildings.
  • Contact Police Services immediately if anyone is seen acting suspiciously and inappropriately on campus.
