Police have arrested a suspect in connection with a March 4 homicide in west Las Vegas.
Detectives identified 24-year-old Gervonn McCurdy as the suspect and was taken into custody without incident on April 7 by the CAT Team.
Officers from the Bolden Area Command responded to a shooting on the 800 block of West Lake Mead Boulevard around 8:30 p.m.
Investigators located an unresponsive male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The male victim was transported to the University Medical Center Trauma in critical condition and later died of the injuries.
The victim was outside of an apartment prior to the shooting and a dark colored SUV with large rims was seen speeding from the area, according to police.
