Honoring Black History: Highlighting Black community members and their impact across the Las Vegas valley

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — February is Black History Month, and 8 News Now is shining a light on the impact the Black community has made, and is continuing to make, on the Las Vegas valley.

In this half-hour special, you’ll hear from Black community members who are leaving their mark on all aspects of society — from healthcare, to the classroom and many places in between.
