Joe Moeller joined 8NewsNow in December 2019. He graduated from California State University-Fullerton.
He comes to Las Vegas from Fresno, where he served as a morning anchor and reporter. He began his on-air career in Helena, Montana, immediately after graduation from Cal State Fullerton. While attending university, he was also a news and entertainment intern at KTLA in Los Angeles.
While in Fresno, Joe won a National Edward R. Murrow Award for a special three-part series showing the potential impacts that President Donald Trump’s proposed wall could have on the US-Mexico Border.
Joe is excited to explore and live in Las Vegas. When he’s not at work, you can find Joe enjoying his time off with his dog, Bodie, or out on a run.
