The Clark County Foster and Adoptive Parent Association is organizing Clark County's first-ever 5K fundraising walk to support foster and adoptive parents and children within the community.
"Walk Me Home ... to the place I belong" is sponsored by the National Foster Parent Association and the Clark County Foster and Adoptive Parent Association. This first time nationwide event has been organized in more than 100 communities within 25 states nationally between the months of May-October of 2008.
The walk will take place on Oct. 18, 2008, Sunset Park, Las Vegas, Area "B" 7:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Each $30 in donations/pledges will support the cost of (1) walk registration fee as well as provide registered walkers with a "Walk Me Home" T-shirt.
