Eyewitness News has obtained a board of medical examiner's report on Dr. Dipak Desai's stroke. Desai is the man at the center of the hepatitis C scare in Southern Nevada.
He and his partners owned the Endoscopy Center of Southern Nevada and Desert Shadow Endoscopy Center.
The report says Desai had his stroke July 13. It goes on to say his attorney tried to meet with him 13 days later, but he was unable to help formulate his testimony, help come up with a witness list and help with the evidence.
Because of the stroke, his disciplinary hearing has been moved to Feb. 24 here in Las Vegas.
