You may think you don't want to adopt, until you see this pair of brothers. Adorable. Cute. Words don't do 'em justice, so maybe the pictures will.

Yes, they're as cute as they appear on camera. No, cuter.

Matthew is 4 years old, a year older than Damian. The first thing you notice about Damian is that he can't walk, yet. But just wait because nothing stops this kid.

"He's a fighter. He's a fighter. He don't know what giving up is. He knows fighting. When he first came to my house, he couldn't go up the stairs like we do. He was using his shoulders. Now, he will pull up, pull up, and go up and down," explained Sandy, the boys' foster mother.

Damian has a wheelchair and a walker but it's just a stepping stone because the sky's the limit for him.

"He's a determined person. He don't give up. He will get his walker and tell me, I need to walk," said Sandy.

Older brother Matthew is extremely friendly and wants hugs, loves attention and is very affectionate.

"Both of these boys like love. If you don't come in the door and give it to 'em, they... look at you strange. Every day they come in from school they look like this (arms wide) they want a kiss and a hug," exclaimed Sandy.

And there's something else they want.

"They love pizza, they love popcorn, they love hot dogs, they love the movies. If you take these kids in, you gotta take them to the movies. They go to the movies every week," Sandy admitted.

All that aside, if you want to adopt these two, you'll have to prove to Damian and Matthew that your love is forever.

"They need a home. They need a lot of structure and stuff like that, but they need a lot of love. They need to understand that I'm not going to hurt you. I'm gonna be there for you. And you know, I'm never gonna leave you, because they miss that. They think that that's what's going to happen," admonished Sandy.

Damian and Matthew are ready for adoption, but you'd better get started with the process now. Call the local office of the Adoption Exchange now at 436-6335.
