Pedestrian suffers critical injuries in NLV crash

NORTH LAS VEGAS, Nev. -- North Las Vegas Police are investigating a critical injury crash involving a pedestrian who was hit by a car at East Lake Mead Blvd. and North 5th Street.

According to police, the male victim was hit shortly after 8:30 p.m. Thursday and transported to University Medical Center in extremely critical condition.

The 27-year-old driver of the car that hit the victim stayed on scene. Police are still determining whether the victim or driver was at fault.
