Metro ID's officers involved in neighborhood shooting

LAS VEGAS -- Metro Police have identified the two police officers who fired their weapons in a shooting that left an armed suspect dead.

The officers are identified as William Moore and Ryan Rotta. Williams, 34, has been employed with Metro since Jan. 2006 and Rotta, 24, has been employed with Metro since 2008.

Both officers were involved in the shooting that left Cody Winters dead. Winters and Natasha Jackson are accused of going on a random crime spree in a southeast Las Vegas neighborhood Tuesday that left two people dead, including Winters who was shot by police.

The officers have been placed on paid administrative leave pending the outcome of a review of the shooting.
