Coroner IDs man killed crossing the street in NLV

NORTH LAS VEGAS, Nev. -- The Clark County Coroner's Office has identified the man hit and killed while crossing the street in North Las Vegas as 67-year-old Steven Feinberg.

The accident happened at approximately 8:30 p.m. Monday, July 14 near Cheyenne Avenue and Commerce Street. North Las Vegas Police say Feinberg attempted to cross Cheyenne, when a Toyota sedan struck him. Feinberg was not in a crosswalk at the time of the accident.

The 23-year-old female driver of the Toyota was unharmed. Feinberg died at the scene of the accident.

Police say they do not suspect alcohol played a role in the crash. So far, they have not arrested the woman.
