LAS VEGAS -- Metro Police are trying to find two people of interest in connection with a deadly shooting last week.
The men were seen in a convenience store near the intersection of Rancho Drive and Michael Way a few moments before one person was shot and killed at the nearby Northpointe Apartments.
Police officers were called to the scene at around 9:40 p.m. Wednesday, July 2. Police say the shooting occurred after an argument. Emergency crews transported the victim to University Medical Center where he later died.
Police say the incident started when the victim and two other people were confronted at the entrance of the apartment complex by two men in a dark, colored four-door sedan. During a brief argument, multiple gunshots were fired. The victim was hit, but the two other people ran. The two men in the car drove away.
The first person police are trying to identify is described as a black man in his 20s between 5 foot 8 and 5 foot 10 with a medium build and muscular arms. He was last seen wearing a gray tank top with a red and white symbol and white lettering, dark colored shorts and white tennis shoes.
The second person police are trying to identify is a black man in his 20s between 5 foot 8 and 5 foot 10 and having a medium build. He was wearing a black tank top with a red symbol and white writing, long white shorts, white socks and black sandals.
The vehicle the men were in may have been a Chevy Monte Carlo with a rear spoiler and a sunroof.
