LAS VEGAS -- Six people were hurt in a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Alexander Road and North Durango Drive Thursday night.
Police say the crash happened shortly after 7:30 p.m. A Toyota Corolla and a Chevrolet Malibu crashed into each other in the intersection. The crash sent the Toyota into a nearby metal light pole.
Police say none of the four people inside the Toyota was wearing seat belts. One of the passengers was ejected from the car when it struck the light pole. The male driver and two female passengers were seriously hurt. A third female passenger was critically hurt.
The two people inside the Chevrolet sustained minor injuries.
All of the injured people were taken to University Medical Center.
