LAS VEGAS - The National Weather Service in Las Vegas has issued a Red Flag Warning and Wind Advisory for southern Nevada. The Red Flag Warning remains in effect from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. The Wind Advisory remains in effect from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
Weather forecasters expect dry conditions and gusty winds throughout the day. They urge people to take precautions to prevent the spread of wildfires.
Strong crosswinds, blowing dust and debris could also affect driving conditions along valley highways. Boaters on Lake Mead should expect choppy conditions.
