CiCi's in ambush officer shooting to donate all proceeds Sunday

LAS VEGAS -- The CiCi's pizza location, where an ambush occurred that killed two Metro officers, will donate 100 percent of their proceeds on Sunday to the families of Officers Beck, Soldo, and to bystander Joseph Wilcox, who was shot and killed at a nearby Walmart store.

The "Sharing Our Support" fundraiser will be held at the site of the shooting, 309 N. Nellis Blvd., the company said. In addition, CiCi's locations across Las Vegas and around the nation will also hold fundraisers and accept donations.

“The entire CiCi’s family is profoundly saddened by the events that took place in one of our restaurants last Sunday,” said CiCi’s CEO Darin Harris. “We are joining hands on Sunday to honor the victims, show our support for their families and help our team members during this difficult time.”

In addition, the company said a permanent memorial will be placed in the restaurant to honor Las Vegas Metro Police Officers Igor Soldo and Alyn Beck.
