LAS VEGAS -- Metro police are asking for the public's help in finding two suspects, one who used a machete, in connection to a convenience store robbery in late May.

According to police, the incident happened at a store near North Rancho and North Rainbow on May 22. One of the men walked up to the counter and asked for a pack of cigarettes. Police say the other man stood to the side.

Moments later, one of the men jumped over the counter, with a machete in hand, and pushed the cashier to the back of the counter while shoving the large knife to their chest and said "open the register or you're dead."

The men were able to take off with an undisclosed amount of cash, according to police.

Metro said they are looking for a Hispanic man, between 18 and 20 years old, who weighs around 140 lbs. During the robbery, he was wearing an Ace bandage on his right arm. In addition, police said they are looking for a black man, also 18 to 20 years old, who weighs around 170 pounds.
