JACKSON, Tenn. - A Tennessee woman is coming under fire for allegedly tying her one-month-old baby to the train of her wedding dress and dragging the child down the aisle.
The Huffington Post reports Shona Carter married her fiance in a ceremony in Ripley, Tennessee in May. Rather than find a babysitter or ask a relative to take of her baby, Carter allegedly chose to tie the baby to the train of her dress.
KDSK in St. Louis reports Carter-Brooks defended her decision on Facebook, saying, "We do what we want, when we want long as Jesus on our side, everything worked out fine and gone continue to be fine. Our 1 month old was awake and well secured on my train. Most important while yall got ya feelings in us we had our hearts in Christ which covers all!!"
