Nevada gaming win slips in April

CARSON CITY, Nev. - The Nevada Gaming Control Board reports the monthly gaming win fell slightly in April. Nevada casinos won more than $852 million from gamblers last month, a drop of 0.27 percent from April 2013.

Clark County casinos fared slightly better, posting an increase of 0.87 percent from last year. Las Vegas Strip casinos were the only properties in Clark County to experience an increase last month.

The state collected more than $47 million in fees based on the April gaming numbers. That represents an increase of 1.43 percent from last year.
