LAS VEGAS -- The Clark County Coroner's Office has identified the teen shot and killed Thursday night as 18-year-old Clayton Wesley Bronson of Las Vegas.

The deadly shooting happened around 9 p.m. at a home near Buffalo and Robindale roads. Bronson died of multiple gunshot wounds, the coroner said.

According to police, officers were called to the home for a domestic disturbance. Police say they found Bronson dead inside the home. His brother, who is a juvenile, has been taken into custody in connection with the shooting.

It's heartache that time may never heal as friends of Clayton Bronson said his death is surreal.

Police said a fight between brothers has changed one family forever.

Steven Koss was one of Clayton's close friends and said they spent a lot of time together. He lived by his friend’s motto.

"We all understand how precious life is and we always live life to the fullest, did what we could do to enjoy life, because we are only on here for a short period of time,” Koss said.

Koss said Clayton was determined and at times a bit stubborn. Koss added Clayton’s passion for life makes it that much harder to believe he's gone.

"His quote was always, 'when was the last time you were living?' because most people live day by day, and they don't think about how precious life is,” Koss said.

Friends said they want to know what happened when things got out of control.

Police arrested Clayton’s younger brother for the shooting inside the family's home

"It’s definitely tragic, first of its kind that's ever happened,” neighbor John Wong said.
