LAS VEGAS -- Jury deliberations in the civil trial involving the drug company Takeda and two southern Nevada women are now underway.
The women are suing the drug company over its diabetes drug Actos. The women claim it gave them bladder cancer, and they claim the pharmaceutical company did not warn users of the potential dangers.
The women are seeking a multi-billion dollar verdict, the largest in Nevada history.
Takeda points out that 70,000 people a year get bladder cancer.
