LAS VEGAS -- The coroner's office has identified the woman hit and killed while crossing the street just north of Flamingo on Decatur.

The accident happened just after 8 p.m., Saturday.

A Metro spokesperson says 39-year-old Regina Fairley was taken to UMC where she died. Police say she was not in a marked crosswalk when she was hit by an SUV. The driver of that SUV is cooperating with police and no arrests have been made in the case.

Police say there is no evidence the driver was speeding or using alcohol or drugs.

Decatur from Flamingo to Twain was shut down as Metro's fatal division investigated.
