LAS VEGAS -- Metro Police are investigating a deadly shooting that happened near Nellis Boulevard and Cheyenne Avenue.
According to police, at around 11:30 p.m. Thursday, officers were called to the area on a report that an injured man was lying on a sidewalk. When officers arrived, they found the victim dead from an apparent gunshot wound.
During their investigation, officers found that the victim had been shot at a nearby apartment complex and then walked to the area where he was found dead.
Police say the victim had been involved in an argument with three other people shortly before the shooting.
The identity of the victim and his cause and manner of death will be released by the Clark County Coroner's Office.
There is no word on suspects or motive, at this point.
