Trio indicted in robbery, kidnapping case

LAS VEGAS -- A Clark County grand jury indicted three individuals on 21 felony counts related to a reported Christmas Eve 2012 robbery and kidnapping case at an apartment complex at 2901 N. Rainbow Blvd.

Warrants with no bail were issued for Antoine Green and Franklin Abel, who are in custody in California. Bail was also set at $130,000 for Tabrena Moore, a 25-year-old nurse from California who is in custody in the Clark County Detention Center. She is scheduled to appear in court May 7.

The trio were charged with using handguns to rob and assault a couple and their 11-month-old child while they were at home. The charges include burglary while in possession of a firearm, first-degree kidnapping with use of a deadly weapon, attempted murder with use of a deadly weapon, battery with intent to commit sexual assault and battery by strangulation.

The indictment accused the co-defendants of forcing the adult male victim at gunpoint to open a safe, and also of forcing the adult female victim to remove her clothes. The indictment also said that a shirt was placed over the female victim's face, head or neck and tightened.

An attorney for Moore requested lower bail for his client than for Green and Abel by saying that she has no prior criminal record and wasn't armed during the incident.
