LAS VEGAS -- The man accused in a fatal stabbing outside a thrift store had an outstanding warrant and was due to be sentenced next month in an attempted theft case.

Cody Bradbury, 24, was arrested Wednesday after a stabbing in the parking lot of a thrift store near Rancho Drive and Cheyenne Avenue. Police say Bradbury got into a fight with Bruce Reid and Bradbury stabbed Reid in the chest. Reid died a short time later at University Medical Center.

According to the arrest report, Bradbury was upset when his ex-girlfriend left his apartment with Reid. He told police, he later saw Reid's motorcycle in the parking lot by Savers thrift store and kicked the motorcycle, knocking it to the ground. The two men got into a physical fight and during the fight Bradbury removed a knife from Reid's pocket and stabbed him, police said.
