Police: Man shot in Stratosphere parking lot

LAS VEGAS -- A man was shot in one of the parking lots connected to the Stratosphere late Monday evening, police said.

According to officers, the victim was shot "multiple times" in the north parking lot of the property, just after 9:30 p.m.

He was taken to University Medical Center with initial reports of non life-threatening injuries.

Police said they were looking for multiple people in connection with the shooting, including a possible red pick-up truck.

Investigators said the shooting appears to be gang-related.
