LAS VEGAS -- A Clark County grand jury indicted the man accused of trying rob members of the show "Thunder from Down Under" on 16 charges.

On Friday, the grand jury indicted 24-year-old Joey Kadmiri on several charges, including seven counts of attempted robbery, one count of attempted murder, and one count battery with a deadly weapon along with weapons charges and one drug charge.

In all, eight victims were named in the indictment. According to prosecutors, Kadmiri made his way into the backstage area of the show at the Excalibur last month and tried to steal items.

However, dancers from the show caught him and tackled him. Metro Police say Kadmiri fired one shot at the dancers. No one was hit by gunfire but two suffered powder burns.

The judge set bail at $500,000. His next court date is April 17.
