LAS VEGAS - A Las Vegas Justice Court judge has set bail for accused arson suspect Kirk Bills at $310,000.

Bills appeared in Las Vegas Justice Court Friday morning for his bail hearing. The issue of him being a possible flight risk was discussed as was a phone call between him and co-defendant Gloria Lee, the owner of the pet store he is accusing of setting on fire.

Bills is charged with numerous counts of arson, burglary and attempted animal abuse for allegedly setting fire to the Prince and Princess Puppies and Boutique on Jan. 27. The store contained 27 puppies at the time of the fire. The sprinkler system put out the fire and the puppies all rescued.

Bills was arrested in Indiana and was extradited to Las Vegas to face charges. Lee, who is currently in jail on a bail of $310,000, has already pleaded not guilty to the charges.

Bills' next court appearance is scheduled for March 10.
