LAS VEGAS - A viewer says a recent change in timing on the stop light at Las Vegas Boulevard and Convention Center Drive is causing long delays.
The viewer says the delays affect traffic along southbound Las Vegas Boulevard between 7:30 a.m. and 8 a.m. - at the heart of rush hour.
The Regional Transportation Commission observed and studied signal coordination at this intersection during that time period. The RTC discovered red lights were occurring at irregular intervals.
Crews adjusted the timing of the light. Improvements should now be apparent, and this problem should be solved.
