LAS VEGAS -- A 72-year-old man was killed Sunday as he attempted to help a driver who had been involved in a rollover crash.
The crash happened on the Needles Highway at Mile Marker 10 around 5:45 a.m. According to Metro Police, Charles Eugene Muller of Laughlin stopped at the crash scene and was crossing the Needles Highway when he was struck by vehicle. That driver waited at the scene for police.
Muller was airlifted to University Medical Center where he was pronounced dead on arrival. The driver in the rollover crash suffered moderate injuries.
Some medical providers say they often deal with Hispanic patients who are afraid to seek medical care. It's hoped the opening of a new medical clinic will change that.
