LAS VEGAS -- A man is now in custody after a standoff in a Northwest valley neighborhood.
The FBI, Metro SWAT team and negotiators were all at the scene near Buffalo and Alta, Sunday night.
Police say the standoff started because of a neighbor dispute earlier that evening. Officers say the suspect pointed a gun at a neighbor and then went inside his house. When officers arrived, he refused to come out.
Police blocked off the streets near Altamira and Gray, but they are now back open.
Metro Lt. Craig Klatt says police have had trouble with the suspect in the past.
