LAS VEGAS -- Fire investigators are trying to figure out what started a two-alarm fire inside a Las Vegas valley restaurant, late Saturday night.
Crews were called to Lee's Korean Barbecue near Spring Mountain Road and Rainbow Boulevard just before midnight.
Clark County Deputy Fire Chief Erik Newman tells 8 News Now, when crews arrived on scene, flames were visible on the roof. Firefighters called out a second alarm as a precaution. Newman says there were concerns about the fire spreading to nearby businesses.
Fire officials say that the restaurant's staff was able to evacuate the building safely and without injury.
Deputy Chief Newman says it's not clear what may have started the fire. There is significant smoke and fire damage to the inside of the restaurant.
