LAS VEGAS -- The son of a former judge and a former county commissioner is once again on the wrong side of the law.

The I-Team has learned a theft arrest warrant has been issued for Brian Atkinson-Turner and his wife Kathryn O'Gara. Atkinson-Turner was recently released from jail.

According to the criminal complaint, the pair face six charges for stealing a diamond ring from a jewelry store, near Flamingo Road and the southern beltway, and trying to sell it to a pawn shop.

They have not been arrested.

In 2007, police found a pot-grow room in Atkinson-Turner's house and horrid conditions surrounding their baby, including feces smeared on the walls. O'Gara was also charged but took a plea deal.

She was also arrested last year on a prostitution-related charge. The pair also previously faced federal tax charges.

Atkinson-Turner is the son of former District Court judge Lee Gates and former County Commissioner Yvonne Atkinson-Gates.
