CARSON CITY, Nev. - The Nevada Gaming Control Board reports Nevada's monthly gaming win rose 9.6 percent in December 2013. Casinos won more than $1.03 billion last month, compared with more than $943 million in December 2012.
Clark County casinos experienced an increase of nearly 12 percent from December 2012 to December 2013, thanks to double digit increases in every region in the valley.
Despite the strong showing, fee collections declined. The state collected more than $35 million in fees based on the December gaming win. That compares with more than $39 million the year before.
