McCarran Passenger Numbers Remain Flat in 2013

LAS VEGAS -- Passenger traffic at McCarran International Airport remained nearly flat in 2013 when compared to the previous year, according to figures released Thursday by the Clark County Department of Aviation.

Around 41.8 million passengers arrived and departed from the airport in 2013. In 2012, the number was 41.6 million. The growth was 0.5 percent.

Southwest Airlines was the leading carrier when it came to passenger numbers transporting 16.5 passengers last year.

Foreign travel was up 3.4 percent with 2.9 million international passengers arriving and departing from McCarran.
