LAS VEGAS -- Lanes on U.S. 95 northbound and southbound and Cheyenne Avenue westbound and eastbound have reopened for traffic.
Nevada Highway Patrol and Metro Police said the roads were closed around 10:30 a.m. to handle a situation involving a suicidal individual on the overpass. Metro Police called in their Crisis Intervention Team which is trained to deal with these kinds of situations. The person was safely removed from the overpass.
