LAS VEGAS --  Clark County Coroner's Office has identified the man who died during a lengthy standoff with North Las Vegas Police as Soontorn Rachchusiri, 49 of North Las Vegas.

The coroner ruled that the cause of death was a gunshot wound to the chest and the manner was suicide.

The standoff happened last week at Rachchusiri's home near Clayton Road and West Gowan Road. North Las Vegas Police were called to the home on a report of a domestic disturbance.

According to police, Rachchusiri opened fire on six family members. Two women were hit and one was critically wounded.

Two teenagers fled to the roof of the home when the shots were fired.

Police tried to coax Rachchusiri out of the house, but when he wouldn't come out, police went into the home and found his body. Officers also say they found several firearms in the house.
