City of Las Vegas Seeks Lifeguards

LAS VEGAS -- The City of Las Vegas is looking to hire lifeguards for its municipal pools.

There are immediate openings for certified lifeguards and water safety instructors. Applicants must be at least 16 years old, have current certifications in lifeguarding, first aid, CPR and AED (automated external defibrillator) use.

There are classes beginning Jan. 27 at the municipal pool located at 431 E. Bonanza Road to help applicants get certified. The American Red Cross is also offering lifeguarding classes. Advance registration is required for classes.
