LAS VEGAS -- Metro Police have allowed people in a northeast Las Vegas neighborhood back into their homes after a man who had barricaded himself inside a home surrendered to police.
Police were called to the home on Stevens Street near Owens Avenue and Sandhill Road just before 9 a.m. According to police, a man answered the door, but slammed it shut when he saw the officer.
The man was taken into custody about 11 a.m. The charges he might face are not known.
