Goodman Talking with Police About Injuries

Posted: Updated:

LAS VEGAS -- Metro Police tell 8 News NOW that Las Vegas Mayor Carolyn Goodman's son, Eric, is talking with detectives about the injuries he suffered in mid-December. However, police were not clear about how he exactly he was hurt.

Sources tell the I-Team, the incident stems from a Dec. 15 attack that left Goodman's son unconscious in a bathroom at South Tower Park with injuries to his head. The park is located near West Charleston Boulevard and the 215 beltway. Goodman had gone for a jog.

During a news conference Monday afternoon, police would not confirm that Goodman was attacked. They also would not provide details of what could have caused his injuries.

Eric Goodman is an attorney and Las Vegas Justice of the Peace. Ross Goodman, Eric's brother, told the I-Team Saturday that he's been at his brother's side since the attack. He says the family has no idea who attacked his brother while jogging.
