The marathon attracted people from all 50 states and 52 countries. Portions of Las Vegas Boulevard were closed to traffic starting at 10 a.m. in preparation for the evening marathon. The marathon was moved earlier this year. In past years, it has been run in December. Organizers wanted to take advantage of the milder weather.
