Chip Wilson, the founder of Lululemon, an athletic clothing company specializing in yoga, running and workout gear, is caught in the middle of an Internet firestorm over comments he made on television.

During an interview on Bloomberg television, the Huffington Post reported Wilson admitted to making a "mistake" in its yoga pants design, where some pants could become see-through.

But it's what he said next, that has many raising eyebrows.

"The thing is that women will wear seatbelts that don't work [with the pants], or they'll wear a purse that doesn't work, or quite frankly some women's bodies just actually don't work for it," the website said.

The company has also been under heat for shunning plus-size shoppers.
