LAS VEGAS - A driver is confused by two white lines at a crosswalk at Warm Springs Road and Rainbow Boulevard. He says he isn't sure which one marks where he should stop.
These are known as stop-bar markings. They let drivers know exactly where a car should completely stop at an intersection.
Only one stop-bar is needed, so it is unclear why this intersection has two. Traffic8 reached out to Clark County officials who said they are thankful this was brought to their attention. The two lines can confuse motorists.
County crews will remove the double stop-bar markings from the outer lanes on eastbound Warm Springs at Rainbow.
Only the left-turn lanes should have the bar placed at the end of the median. So, the incorrect one is getting removed. The correct one will remain.
